CRM - HR Helpdesk Workflow issue - Help required - Urgnt Plz

Hi,
We've been facing this specific Workflow related issue in CRM - Call Center Event - Workflow with respect to HR Helpdesk.
The functionality is when a Case is created and assigned to a person it should go to his worklist. When a case is created on my name and saved it populates the case in my worklist. That is as per the functionality.
If I open the same case once again and do a minor modification like if I even add a full stop to the description and save it ,it fires a duplicate entry in my worklist. Let me tell you I have checked for all the TriggerBusinessEvents and could not find one which could be associated with my worklist record. My worklist is not populated by any of then TriggerBusinessEvent which is for sure.
The event handler configuration for Call Center Events is found in Setup CRM - Product Related - Call Center - Call Center Events - Wrokflow and we are using CRM 8.8

Please let me know if any one has faced a similar issue before. Any advice in this regard would be appreciated
